Branson Special Operations Squad

Here is one of the latest coins coming from the Branson Police Department, Special operations Squad. This coin is a wonderful coin becuase it mixes the best of both worlds of display and old school. On the one side they used their logo and trimmed it around with a flat cut edge. This side really shines for display purposes while the other brings back an old school feeling. It keeps the antique nickel finish with a wonderful quote from the Bible. These guys wanted something to call their own and they obviously put out something that does just that.
With many police departments around the U.S. getting into challenge coins we are seeing a wide variety of styles. This is just one of many we wanted to highlight that U.S. Challenge Coins produced and they obviously did a fantastic job on this coin. The coin was done in a 1.75″ diameter fashion without the epoxy so the detail could be felt. Everything was done for simplistic style so the coin could in fact be used if need be. Now this unit has something special they can call their own.
